The Maa Guest House has four charming bedrooms, each decorated in its own unique style, with furniture sourced in Kenya. It is extremely important to us to celebrate and showcase local craftsmanship and talent.
Three rooms can be configured with twin or king size beds and the fourth is a double. The beds are extremely comfortable with very high quality linen to ensure that you enjoy the best night’s sleep possible.
Each room has an ensuite bathroom with hot running water powered by solar and a selection of Kenyan luxury toiletries from Cinnabar Green.
Every room has a private entrance via the properties wrap around veranda. Tea and coffee is available in the morning and throughout the day in the guest lounge.
Our Luxurious Tent
A short walk up the hill from the house is our luxurious tent, tucked under a palm leaf roof with a lovely wooden deck.
The beautifully appointed and spacious bathroom has his and hers sinks and an outdoor double shower, where guests can enjoy a beautiful sunrise or a clear view of the stars in the evening.
The tent has a separate living area with sofa and table, where you can catch up on work or enjoy your meals whilst taking in the sweeping views and gorgeous sunsets over Olare Motorogi Conservancy.
Private dinners can also be arranged on the tents deck. This is the ultimate in glamping and can be booked as it’s own private and self contained unit or as part of the house.
